Blogging is great fun, I get to write about macro-economics and you get to read it. At first it was a useful way of storing articles on-line to allow people to read them but lately it has become a restrictive method of publishing my work.

So the next step is to use a website which has greater possibilities and allow expansion into other areas. The Occasional Letter has become a series of essays that get ever longer. The Weekly Report has also developed into an analysis of near future trends and short term opportunities, sometimes stretching to 14 pages. As a blogger this has become too much to handle.

The time has arrived to take certain parts of the Occasional Letter and the Weekly Report and give them standalone status, allowing more regular updates and reader access.

It is also an opportunity to set up a traders/investors website, catering to the needs of those who do not need bulletin boards. The idea is to have facilities at hand that provide a good service and an excellent back up or "on the road" utility.

With that in mind, the long term indicators of trend along with certain interesting charts will have their own pages. The site will also have:

Real time charts

News feeds

Stock and commodity prices including hot and cold stocks
 
Charts displaying data used as a watchlist for economic fundamentals

Here is the other big change. The site will be for members only. The difficult part was to decide how to go about this. After long discussions with friends and family, I have decided to treat this as a business, it's the only way I can develop my research and deliver a higher level of service.

The good news is it'll be cheap. $20 per Quarter.

You pay for the letters and reports as well as the proprietary indicators. The rest is free to members.
